 People with diminished capacity can benefit from having their health and/or property administered by a properly appointed attorney; they can also be vulnerable to exploitation.  We help with disputes relating to: 

• Elder Abuse
• Findings of incapacity
• Validity of powers of attorney
• Guardianship (adults and minors)
• Breach of fiduciary duty by an attorney or guardian
• Passing of attorney or guardian's accounts

 Families can hold real and other property in a number of legal structures, for any number of reasons.  When family arrangements are unwritten, or poorly recorded, disputes can arise over the “true” or beneficial ownership of an interest in property.   We handle legal proceedings seeking declarations of different kinds of trusts over, or interests in property.
